I am Mc Alexander Ciceron. Originally from the colorful streets of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I now call New York City my second home. My love for the arts began at a very early age and my fascination with storytelling over the years has blossomed into a defining aspect of my life.

My body of work contains a wide range of editorial, commercial, and documentary photography and film productions. The scope of my documentary work is deeply rooted in documenting the lives of Haitians living within the diaspora and in Haiti itself. Exploring the culture, economics, geography, and rich folklore that makes up Haiti and Haitian people. For over 15 years, I’ve predominately captured the essence of life in Haiti with pure authenticity embodied in my resume.

In comparison, my editorial and commercial work illustrates a more dramatic and elegant approach with my intention to use color, light, and shadows to create vivid imagery and bring storytelling to life. My main objective is to always produce emotionally resonant bodies of work that are not just seen but felt by individuals.

My creative journey has expanded beyond photography and videography but also within production design and creative direction. Through my evolution as an artist and professional, it has allowed me to explore the art of storytelling in multifaceted ways. This experience has taught me that it is not just about stories, however it is about telling stories that matter.

Projects such as Fanm Djanm, The Portraits of Haiti, and short documentary VeVe highlight the resilience and captivating beauty of Haitian humanity, aiming to shine a light on the often unseen beauty, untold, and underrepresented stories. Whether it’s the spontaneous scenes or meticulously curated advertising campaigns, I always aim to create meaningful work in a saturated content driven world.

Let’s make a change together!
